Job Description and Responsibilities
Interactive Brokers ("IB") is looking for an administrator to join its Marketing Group at our headquarters in Greenwich, CT. The role requires preparation of third party and in-house articles and cooperation with compliance personnel. The successful candidate is expected to maintain accurate records for compliance purposes, work well under pressure and perform additional duties as required.
Interactive Brokers maintains an online blog providing constant market color to investors visiting its website. The administrator is responsible for sourcing third party material, collating incoming article submissions from contributors and preparing in-house contributions. Articles and videos must be read and viewed and prepared for approval purposes. Articles must be formatted for web posting before being posted to the website throughout the day. Occasional editing may be necessary, requiring liaison with third-party contributors. We post around 10-15 articles per day. The ideal candidate will display an interest in financial markets and be able to prioritize articles among competing contributors.
- Bachelor Degree-Related Major (i.e. Marketing, Communications, Technology, Media, Journalism, etc.).
- HTML experience.
- Strong writing and proofreading skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. SharePoint, Content Management Systems and Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus.
- Experience in content editing and web content management highly desired
- Experience with writing and editing HTML code.
- Organized and able to prioritize multiple activities.
- Analytical reporting experience.
- Experience using collaboration tools like JIRA.
