Interactive Brokers ("IB") maintains an online blog providing continuous market color to investors visiting its website. IB seeks a financial markets writer to join its Marketing Group at our headquarters in Greenwich, CT.  The role requires working knowledge of financial markets across multiple asset classes, and ideally, trading or analytical experience with a bank or broker in a client facing role.

  • Write articles and create videos including macro and market commentary
  • Use market expertise and create daily and weekly content to drive viewers to the blog
  • Create scripts for video presentation for online and proprietary use for IBKR clients within its Trader Workstation platform
  • Develope creative content to populate the blog function as editor-at-large to help increase the presence of established external contributors through the promotion of their material.
  • Collaborate with in-house commentary team to script and produce similar educational content for online use among clients and prospects
  • Work well under pressure and perform additional duties as required


  • Bachelor's degree in business development, marketing, or business administration
  • Advanced writing and editing skills
  • Experience producing or managing content for websites & distribution campaigns
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of HTML helpful but not required
