Responsibilities

The candidate will support the acquisition of new clients and provide a seamless transition to IBKR. This will include all of the steps required to fully on-board new clients, from the prospective stage until the client has a solid understanding of the tools and products offered by IBKR. 

  • Answer all private and institutional prospective clients' inquiries. This includes hedge funds, wealth managers, family offices, banks and brokers.
  • Manage all stages of the On-Boarding project for institutional clients (KYC, risk, institutional setup, technical integration, funds/positions transfers, training).
  • Act as client liaison by communicating with other internal departments such as Sales, Broker Operations, Clearing, Compliance, Funds & Banking and our Institutional Services Desk.
  • Assist the top tiered clients with trading platform configuration and other client interfaces.
  • Manage client related projects (new products/structures, custom configurations, etc.).
  • Analyse existing systems and procedures in order to recommend and assist in the implementation of enhancements.
  • Participate in client meetings.

Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other related field
  • Experience: Prior experience in the financial industry
  • Languages: Fluent in English and German – any other languages a plus
  • Product Knowledge: General market knowledge in futures, options, and the equities markets.
  • IT Skills: MS Office, with Bloomberg/TWS knowledge as a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
