Overview

Interactive Brokers ("IB") is looking for a Financial Content Specialist to join our Marketing Group at our headquarters in Greenwich, CT.  The role requires coordination of monthly webinar email blasts and must work with graphic team and compliance personnel. The successful candidate is expected to maintain accurate records for compliance purposes, work well under pressure and perform additional duties as required.

Responsibilities

Online editor - Collate incoming article submissions from contributors to IB’s online blog – Traders’ Insight. Articles and videos must be read and viewed for approval purposes and posted to the website throughout the day. Occasional editing may be necessary, requiring liaison with third-party contributors. We post around 10-15 articles per day. The ideal candidate will display a strong interest in financial markets and be able to prioritize articles among competing contributors.  

 

Webinar administrator – Provide support to US-and international-based webinar presentations. The administrator should have full working knowledge of Logmein hosting platform to deal with pre-and-post-event duties to include scheduling events, sending webinar invites to registrants and coordinating the posting of webinar sessions. The administrator will also liaise with presenters in advance for scheduling purposes. Will maintain tracking codes for all events for compliance purposes and make sure events are properly archived. Ensure that recorded events appear on the website, send pre-event forms with source-coded links, manage sending of panelists’ invitations. 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other related field, or equivalent work experience.  
  • Experience: 2-4 years prior experience in financial industry
  • Registrations: FINRA Series 7 required and willingness to obtain Series 24
