Responsibilities

  • Design, install, and manage local and wide area data and voice network systems
  • Sharing day to day responsibility of maintaining data center’s physical plant and supervision of preventative and emergency maintenance activities
  • Creating and maintaining network documentations 

Qualifications

  • Cisco professionally trained with certification (CCNP/CCIE) relating to advanced level troubleshooting and network architectural skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem / trouble shooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and German

 

  • 7+ years strong experience, on network concepts/configurations with the majority of the following:
    • Network Design & Deployment
    • Cisco Routers and Switches
    • Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint Appliances
    • EIGRP, BGP and OSPF Protocols
    • Brocade Load Balancers
    • WAN Transmission Protocols MPLS, Frame Relay, PPP
    • Multicast Routing
    • Advanced ACL Programming
    • Local/Wide Area Networks
    • World Wide Web
    • TCP/IP SNMP and Syslog Monitoring
    • VPN
  • A benefit, familiarity with any of the following:
    • Voice - Communications & Signaling
    • Data Center Infrastructure (HVAC, Power, EPS)
    • Datacom Facilities (ISDN, E1, E3, Ethernet)
    • UNIX/LINUX Command Set
    • Wireless Networking
    • Premise Wiring
    • PERL, TCL/TK, UNIX Shell Scripting
    • RH LINUX Server Administration
    • VoIP
